Material:
The pendant body is made of high-purity S925 sterling silver, finished with the brand’s highest standard of 5-micron-thick 18K gold plating. Its intricate three-dimensional structure presents a challenge to the plating process — we ensure that every overlapping detail and scale groove is evenly coated with a rich, long-lasting golden hue, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
Craftsmanship:
The pendant features a cross with ornate classical detailing, entwined by a three-dimensional serpent. The serpent’s body is seamlessly integrated with the cross rather than simply attached to it.Core technique: Advanced three-dimensional lost-wax casting is used to precisely reproduce the cross’s classical patterns, the serpent’s coiled posture, and every subtle curvature of its body all in a single cast. The junctions where the serpent intertwines with the cross are rendered naturally and without seams. After casting, artisans meticulously hand-refine and deburr the piece. Due to the complex, overlapping three-dimensional form, this stage demands extensive time and precision to ensure that every line remains sharp and fluid a process of exceptional difficulty and labor.
The pendant overall is polished to a mirror-like high gloss, while the serpent’s body retains distinct scale textures. The cross undergoes multiple rounds of hand mirror-polishing to achieve a luminous, liquid-gold brilliance that exudes luxury. In contrast, the serpent’s finely engraved scales create a tactile interplay between shine and matte, strength and grace — adding a vivid, mysterious presence to the design.
